Tall, green veils buffer settlements’
Lapping, splashing seas known to bring havoc
Upon ones who come down, even clustered
Aboard their scraped, hollow floats
Penetrable, but dense and stagnant while
Breezy sea-greens typically stay in their
Weathered and cracked hollows—taking only
Occasional tolls from edgy approachers
Risks to pluck those depths set aside
From the indifferent, churning expanse
Constant barrage on solid footing
Furious impact unrealized
Habitants move through their years
Solid patterns of little pause, constant
Invites of oceanic appeal like any
Captivating display outweighs reason

Ooooh, I love the way it feels as if the lines are crashing against each other like ocean waves, which adds to the overall impact of the poem. Wonderful job!

Thank you, this was one of my more surprising pleasures to have written.
Apologies for this delayed response! This one got away from me
