Virgosity (poem)

Mythology of Virgo

Perceptions virginal seem
imprecise, unoriginal

more likely celibate or not; still,
virtuosity, in essence

Less persona more
device, ushering life

their unicorn horns
subtle in Mercury’s view

Continued:

Ostensibly in haste, they
monitor and cut yields

make change, as required
growth as speculated

before assured tides
become real, known and done

having drowned vast ploughlands
that instead stand tall

Light of Earth’s Sun shone
caution on their sixth house

They wove picked pieces as planned
landscape, ripe: skillfully garnered rows
