A poem, titled Autumn Octave, shown in 8 lines, black text on blue background with falling leaves

Autumn Octave

Autumn’s Arrived! Officially, at least—
We’ve felt the crawl’s advance for weeks!
Feels of autumn—warm and true, finally
Autumn falls and makes us blue
Blowing cold air, felling limp leaves
Time to wake up—energize!
Stack some wood, can fresh food
Seal those cracks ‘round the stove!
